What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health

Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long term customer relationship. Can sometimes be viewed as cold calling, telesales.

Accountabilities

  • Cross-sell patients into diabetes devices
  • Fill the patients diabetes market basket by promoting additional ancillary supplies
  • Grow the organic segment of the business
  • Manage a phone queue daily to assist new customers with their diabetic needs
  • Build and maintain positive relations and business rapport with manufacturers
  • Communicate with Dr. offices, insurance companies and medical professionals to gather, confirm and authorize necessary information
  • Communicate with patient, close sale, discuss benefits of devices

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Min 1-2 years previous sales experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to multitask
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to change
