Arconic Niles has an immediate opening for a Floater to work in a Plant and Office environment in a variety of positions and departments. The Floater is responsible for filling in when vacancies occur on a daily and/or weekly basis due to vacations, call-offs and increase in work load.
Minimum Years of Experience:
Associates degree in business, computer applications, or other similar field is a plus.
Minimum Education Required:
High School or GED
Minimum Travel Required:
The ideal candidate will be versatile and have the ability to work in an Office and Plant environment. Candidates must possess the ability to alternate tasks quickly and without losing focus. The position requires intermediate level computer proficiency with experience utilizing Microsoft Office and SAP. Ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail along with solid math and reading comprehension skills. Manufacturing experience is a plus. A two year associates degree or equivalent experience is required. This is an hourly position in a collective bargaining unit.
