NHS Education and Autism division is currently seeking Autism Program Specialists to join our Stepping Stones program in Butler County - Lyndora, PA.
ABOUT STEPPING STONES
The Stepping Stones Program provides quality, specialized services for children and adolescents diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) between the ages of 3-7 and 8-14. This 52-week alternative program is designed to be a step-down from traditional 1:1 in-home BHRS services and can be offered in preparation for transition to school/group programs, as a complement to half-day school programs, or as an after-school or summer program.

The position of Program Specialist is a critical and integral part of the Stepping Stones team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting in the implementation the child's treatment plan and assisting with the 2:1 support necessary for participation in presented group activities.
Daily documentation of each child's progress and problem areas, which will be shared with the families after each day of their child's attendance at the program.

a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or a similar human service field, with no previous work experience, or
a Bachelor's Degree in any other field with the equivalent of at least one year of work experience in a job that involved direct contact with individuals with autism, or
an Associate's Degree or 60 credits towards a Bachelor's Degree, with the equivalent of at least 3 years of work experience in a job that involved direct contact with Individuals with autism
