Position Description:

This opening is in our Kawneer (TRACO) Cranberry business which is headquartered in Cranberry Twp, PA, and is the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Kawneer is part of Arconic’s global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business unit, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The Field Service Technician travels to Customer job sites throughout the US for weeks at a time to resolve any product related issues.

  • Perform actual field testing utilizing Kawneer equipment.

  • Witness field testing performed by outside agencies.

  • Write field test reports and project observation reports.

  • Write remedial protocols to correct manufacturing or quality issues.

  • Analyze field problems, being window or building related.

  • Communicate with building owners, consultants, architects, general contractors and customers.

  • Ensure all Kawneer and project specific safety standards are met.

Minimum Years of Experience:

Entry Level

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years window manufacturing experience.

Construction/installation or window repair experience

Experience with troubleshooting.

75-100%

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
